The blade was forged in Bali by our Master Blacksmith Empu Ketut Mudra. After the heat treatment the blade was finished in Solingen by Windmuehle and their famous fine dry grinding technique.

A year of preparation and perfection was invested to release our new series “The Ryan Clift Series”. The launch was held on Wednesday the 16th of July, at the Tippling Club in Singapore.
Designed and forged in Bali and ground in Germany, the exclusive Ryan Clift Series is a joint collaboration between Blades of the Gods, German craftsmen, Windmühlenmesser and Chef-owner Ryan Clift of the Tippling Club in Singapore.
The Ryan Clift Series is a marriage of the Japanese Kiritsuke knife shape to Windmühlenmesser’s famous Solingen dry-fine-grinding technique. Windmühlenmesser is the only company left in Solingen, Germany, who provides this craftsmanship with blades made from our hand-forged Damascus steel and Böhler´s M390 super steel.
